PARENT INVOLVEMENT TO SUPPORT STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT
Types of Involvement

I. Parenting -

Health, rest, nutrition, attendance, safety, manners, good attitudes, respect for people and property.

II. Communicating -
- Pay attention to all the notes that make it home
- Go to conferences
- Ask questions – it is your right as well as your duty.

III. Volunteering –
Contributing your time at school, at home, or in the community to assist your child’s school.

IV. Learning at Home –
Most closely leads to increased student achievement

V. Decision Making -
- Your child’s plan
- Site Council
- Parent Organizations
- Board of Education meetings

VI. Collaboration with community -
